Have you ever wondered how high end in ear monitors are manufactured? Engadget Editor Darren Murph shared a tour he had at Westone Labs and documents the creation of a set of monitors from ear canal cast to final delivery. 

I was surprised at the level of attention that each pair of these gets. Even though I knew they were custom made, I thought there would be a lot more factory production style work that went into them.
